There are a lot of styles of yoga available today than there has possibly been ever. This includes hatha yoga, and styles by Desikachar and Iyengar. For instance, some have yoga training advised that Ashtanga yoga is not derived from the yoga Korunta, but from a synthesis of traditions that may have included early acrobatics!
Some styles of yoga are very advanced, and developed more out of yoga training an adaptation to the West. Bikram yoga is a model of this – and possibly a very extreme one, given that Bikram copyrighted ‘his’ yoga poses and they way they were taught, despite yoga yoga training being fundamentally in the public domain.
There are a few teaching colleges that incorporate yoga with other modalities, both locally and abroad in India. In a few ways, this broad integration of yoga with health yoga training is more closely coordinated with the true nature of yoga, according to some teachers such as Desikachar. But Indian style yoga is not the only one that offers this approach, with the Japanese ki, yoga training or Ki yoga often integrated with macrobiotics and shiatsu.

The senior Yoga student is exceptional because he or she is living proof that Yogic principles will enable us yoga training to survive a longer, healthier, and happier life. The younger Yoga student is also exceptional as he or she is full of energy and can frequently perform feats of physical prowess, which we yoga training could classify as advanced.
